Carl Zeiss A/S has identified a rising potential in the Danish market for Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) equipment and is therefore seeking to appoint a Account Manager to strengthen the presence within the field.  This position will play a critical role in the company’s continuous growth and development in the Danish market.

Your role as Account Manager

As Account Manager for the Danish market, you will identify new business opportunities as well as maintain relationship with current customers. You will also be handling tenders, where coordination with internal stakeholders will be crucial for the success of each tender.

You will have a data driven focus toward your sales approach. You will be sparring internally with different stakeholders within the sales team to share opportunities and insights. Collaboration with the team across the Nordics is crucial for this position, to provide the best insights for every customer.

Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:

  • Create strong enduring customer relationships through regular meetings, contacts and marketing events
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans in coordination with the Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) team
  • Organize and participate in product demonstrations of the Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) systems with clients
  • Provide up-to-date information to the CRM platform to keep the team up to date with the latest account development
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Carl Zeiss Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) portfolio and introduce these to the customer base 

Your Profile

We are looking for a strong sales profile to join Carl Zeiss A/S in Denmark. You will join a company with a wide range of products/services, where you will be selling the Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) to costumers in Denmark. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in sciences or other business-related field. You possess knowledge about the Life Science industry and can navigate in a highly regulated industry.  We also expect you to have experience in selling capital equipment to the research sector in academia and/or industrial arena. You come with a strong commercial mindset and have an interest in learning about the Carl Zeiss product portfolio within Research Microscopy Solutions.
