Bridge planning and production in a key coordination role

In this new and important position, you will act as the vital link between production and supply planning – ensuring that what’s planned is also achievable in the production.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and align capacity data from machines and resources
  • Coordinate changes, deviations, and improvements with production teams
  • Secure up-to-date inputs to the Site Integrated Planning (SIP) team
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration on training, maintenance, and workforce planning
  • Support the optimization of performance, delivery, cost, and sustainability

This is both an operational and tactical role with a strong focus on coordination, data insights, and enabling flow across functions. You will also support the implementation of Philip Morris International’s integrated manufacturing structure in Silkeborg in connection with the ongoing merging process between PMI and Swedish Match.

Experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment – preferably within supply chain planning or a production support function. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, combined with analytical strength and coordination skills, is essential to succeed in this role.

Professional qualifications:

  • Relevant educational background – e.g. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or a technical high school diploma
  • Solid knowledge of production planning and scheduling systems
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting on uptime, downtime, and capacity
  • Familiar with manufacturing support processes such as maintenance, engineering, staffing plans, and training
  • Experience with Lean, TPM, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Fluent in both English and Danish
