PolyMedics Innovations (PMI), a pioneering leader in advanced wound healing technology, is seeking a dedicated and self-driven Area Sales Manager to join their expanding team, covering Sweden and Denmark. This newly created role comes at an exciting time as PMI accelerates its growth journey—their innovative products are already trusted and in use at all major burn centers in Sweden, making a tangible difference in leading trauma centers and hospitals across the Nordics.
Shape the Future of Wound Care in a Dynamic Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of introducing PMI’s innovative wound care solutions to hospitals, trauma centers, and clinics throughout the region. Your focus will be on building and nurturing strong relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and procurement stakeholders, ensuring that PMI’s breakthrough products reach those who need them most. You will deliver high-quality product training and clinical support, supported by comprehensive onboarding and hands-on training with your experienced colleagues in Germany.
In this autonomous and field-based role, you will develop and execute robust account plans, drive market penetration, and act as the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals—providing exceptional customer support and ensure ambitious targets are reached. You will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and represent PMI at relevant conferences and industry events. This position requires a proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset, as well as a genuine passion for improving patient care.
Dynamic and Impact-Driven Sales Profile
The ideal candidate holds a healthcare education (such as nurse, paramedic, or similar) and brings hands-on experience in wound care and/or trauma. In addition, a strong commercial drive is essential, and this experience may stem from various professional backgrounds. Alternatively, candidates with robust commercial profiles from the MedTech sector, who have demonstrated the ability to build account plans, execute sales strategies, and develop lasting relationships, are strongly encouraged to apply. You should be adept at explaining complex medical technology to diverse audiences, highly organized, and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills in Danish or Swedish, and English (spoken and written), are essential.
