About the role
The Nordic Sales Manager for Electrophysiology (EP) is accountable for the commercial performance of Boston Scientific EP portfolio across Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Reporting to the Rhythm Management (RM) Business Unit Manager (BUM), the role leads a regional team of Account Managers (AMs) and Field Clinical Specialists (FCSs), with full ownership of sales delivery, team performance, and strategic execution.
Electrophysiology is a highly prioritized and fast-growing area, offering a unique opportunity to drive adoption of innovative technologies and shape market development across the Nordic region. In this role, you will operate at the forefront of a rapidly evolving market, requiring strong commercial leadership, strategic clarity, and the ability to translate insights into tangible results.
This is a remote, field-based position located in Sweden or Denmark, with regular travel across the region.
Key responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Lead regional sales strategy aligned with national goals, including QBRs to drive performance and corrective actions. Oversee tender processes, identify opportunities, and optimize territories and resources in collaboration with Marketing to strengthen Boston Scientific´s market position.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop the regional EP sales team (AMs and FCSs), driving execution, performance, and continuous capability building. Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Cross-Franchise Collaboration
Partner with CRM RSM and cross-functional stakeholders to leverage RM synergies and strengthen KAM initiatives in key accounts, integrating clinical, commercial, and operational perspectives.
Market Insight
Track healthcare trends, policy changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain market leadership. Ensure strong product and market expertise across the team.
Customer Management
Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, key accounts, and decision-makers. Deliver value-based solutions addressing clinical and economic needs.
Operations & Compliance
Drive effective use of Salesforce CRM for forecasting and alignment. Ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and ethical conduct.
Your profile
Qualifications
- Proven experience from a sales management role across multiple Nordic markets
- Solid background within MedTech, preferably in rhythm management and/or cardiology
- Relevant academic degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language; additional Nordic languages are an advantage
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of the MedTech landscape, including capital equipment sales and regional healthcare systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage high-performing teams
- Strong business acumen with analytical and strategic capabilities, including experience managing tender processes
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships and develop value-based commercial solutions
