Plant Process Quality Engineer

As Plant Process Quality Engineer, you will become part of the Quality Department at SBS Friction and play a central role in improving process stability, quality methods and problem solving across the plant. You will work closely with Production, Industrialization and R&D teams and act as a challenger of existing practices, ensuring that quality issues are addressed in the right functions using structured and fact-based approaches.
The role combines hands-on involvement in daily quality activities with a strong focus on documentation, analysis and middle and long-term improvements.
Your main responsibilities
Your responsibilities will span across validation, quality tools and handling of internal nonconformities, including
- Leading structured root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventive actions
- Validation of products and production processes, including testing, data collection and documentation
- Maintenance and development of control plans and FMEAs across multiple value streams
Your profile
You have an Engineering background and experience from a manufacturing environment, ideally within automotive or serial production. You typically have a couple of years of experience working with production, process or quality tasks.
You are analytical, structured and proactive by nature and thrive in a role where you challenge assumptions and contribute with fact-based insights. You communicate clearly in English, work well across functions and are comfortable in an organisation that is developing and changing.
