Key role in building strategic sourcing partnerships within sustainable IT
On behalf of Renewtech, Compass Human Resources Group is looking for a driven and structured Account Manager to help build and develop long-term sourcing partnerships as part of Renewtech’s international growth journey. Strategic, relationship-driven role with international scope
As Account Manager, you will be part of Renewtech’s sourcing organization and report directly to the Head of Sourcing. You will work in an international setup and collaborate closely with colleagues across countries as well as internal specialists within ESG, compliance, logistics, and product teams.
The role is international by nature and can be performed remotely. Rather than focusing on short-term transactions, your primary task will be to establish and develop long-term strategic partnerships with companies owning large IT installations, such as data centers, hosting providers, and large enterprise environments. The sales processes are complex and long-term, requiring structure, persistence, and strong relationship-building capabilities.
You will play a key role in supporting Renewtech’s strategic ambition to increase direct sourcing through trusted, long-term partnerships across Europe.
Key responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include, among others:
- Identifying and engaging potential sourcing partners within your designated market
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers
- Driving complex sales and sourcing processes involving multiple stakeholders and long decision-making cycles
- Developing structured account plans with clear milestones and consistent follow-up
- Using ESG and sustainability as a strategic entry point in dialogue with potential partners
- Collaborating closely with internal teams on evaluation, handling, and contract execution
- Over time, building and managing a portfolio of strategically important sourcing partnerships
Success in the role is measured by the quality and progress of relationships and sourcing channels rather than short-term results.
Experienced commercial profile with a long-term mindset
You have experience from complex B2B sales, sourcing, or account management roles, preferably involving long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. Industry experience is an advantage but not a requirement – your ability to work strategically, build trust, and understand customers’ decision logic is what matters most.
You thrive in roles where results are created over time and where persistence, structure, and discipline are essential. You are comfortable working independently in a remote setup and collaborating across borders in an international organization.
