Vaillant, one of Europe’s high-end suppliers in the HVAC industry, is undergoing a major strategic restructuring and you will, as part of the management team play a vital and visible role in setting and securing the strategic direction and preparing the commercial organization for upcoming major product launches.

Make a vital and visible impact within sustainability

Reporting to the Country Director Nordic you will be developing the commercial strategy and the commercial organization to address the growing sustainability market in Heat-pumps, Gas-boilers, Solar and ventilation systems, with a high-end brand and exciting new products in the pipeline. You will have overall responsibility for the commercial results in the Nordics and the transformation towards new commercial models in a complex setting with a broad product portfolio and different distribution channels.

You will take the lead, set the direction and implement structures and processes that will secure the engagement and commitment of the local sales teams in addressing different national markets and channel characteristics. More specifically, you will:

  • Take leadership of the overall commercial strategy, analyzing the portfolio, channels and agreements and create strong plans to ensure direction, engagement and profitability
  • Lead and own the channel strategy as well as supporting the markets with local commercial plans across channels (Wholesale, HVAC installers, Project Sales)
  • Manage the commercial teams in the Nordic, take the lead in major negotiations and secure close alignment with the Country Director Nordic and with international colleagues
  • Work internally with Marketing, Projects and Customer Service to secure that the field sales organization is supported with superior offerings and aligned processes

Besides this, you:

  • Have solid experience working within a similar commercial setting with wholesalers and installers in either construction, building equipment or HVAC industry
  • Are able to translate consumer, channel, customer and business needs into strategy, value proposition and concrete business plans and results
  • Have leadership experience and have developed high performing sales teams in Denmark and preferably also Sweden
  • Have the know-how and endurance to operate in a complex set-up and a solid understanding of the HVAC value chain
  • Can thoroughly analyze performance, create engagement, drive growth and collaborate with supporting functions to succeed
  • Are fluent in English and have experience working with CRM/Sales Force
