Landal is looking for a Senior Development Manager to lead the identification, development and execution of new holiday park opportunities across Denmark. The position is a key role in Landal’s European growth agenda, offering a unique opportunity to combine commercial insight, strategic thinking and hands-on deal-making in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
The role is based in Denmark with flexibility in location and will require travel across the country. You will report directly to the Chief Development Officer based at headquarters in Amsterdam and operate as the local driver of expansion activities in close collaboration with international stakeholders. In Denmark, Landal operates a growing portfolio of holiday parks as part of its wider European platform, with the local team based in Varde playing a central role in supporting continued expansion in the Danish market.
Senior Role with Full Ownership of Growth in Denmark
As Senior Development Manager, you will take full ownership of building and executing Landal’s development pipeline in Denmark. You will act as the key commercial driver in the market, identifying and unlocking new opportunities across both greenfield developments and brownfield acquisitions.
You will be responsible for driving opportunities from early-stage sourcing and evaluation through to negotiation and execution, supported by central specialist functions for financial modelling, legal structuring and investment analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a country-specific expansion strategy
- Identifying and evaluating new development opportunities across Denmark
- Leading negotiations with landowners, developers, investors and local authorities
- Building and maintaining a strong network of relevant stakeholders
- Driving and supporting feasibility assessments and business cases
- Supporting the development process in collaboration with third-party partners
- Ensuring alignment between commercial opportunities and operational requirements
- Monitoring market developments, trends and potential risks
Entrepreneurial Business Developer with Strong Commercial Drive
We are looking for a commercially driven and entrepreneurial profile who thrives in a role with high autonomy and clear ownership. You bring experience from business development, real estate, leisure or a related field and are comfortable managing complex commercial processes and negotiations, ideally in a multi-site environment.
As a person, you are curious, persistent and motivated by uncovering opportunities where others may not look. You build strong relationships, navigate stakeholders with confidence and take ownership in a collaborative and down-to-earth manner.
