Business Analyst

Unilabs Pharma Solutions

Would you like to combine business analysis, capacity planning and data-driven decision support in a growing international organisation? At Unilabs Pharma Solutions, you will work closely with management and play a key role in creating the transparency and insights needed to support growth, prioritisation and operational excellence.

Unilabs Pharma Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen planning, resource management and decision support across the organisation. The company is one of Europe’s leading providers of diagnostic services and the position as Business Analyst is based at Unilabs Pharma Solutions in Copenhagen, a specialty laboratory that supports pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide with bioanalysis, immunoassays and molecular biology – primarily in the later stages of drug development and clinical studies.

By transforming complex operational and project data into actionable insights, forecasts and planning tools, you will enable informed decision-making across the organisation. Your analyses will help leadership optimise capacity, prioritise resources and support sustainable business growth, while contributing to both short-term operational performance and long-term strategic planning.

To support its continued growth, the company has created this newly established position at a pivotal stage of its development. As the organisation continues to grow and evolve, you will have a unique opportunity to shape new ways of working. With many planning and performance management processes yet to be formalised, you will play a key role in designing the frameworks, tools and governance needed to support future growth and enable the organisation to scale efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Capacity planning and resource forecasting across the project portfolio, ensuring effective allocation of the Project Management team, currently consisting of four Project Managers, as well as other dedicated project resources
  • FTE modelling and workforce planning
  • Portfolio and scenario analysis to support business decisions
  • Capacity analysis and identification of bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
  • Development of planning models, reporting tools and visual dashboards
  • Coordination of monthly portfolio review processes and management reporting
  • Facilitation of workshops and cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity and delivery flow

Qualifications:

You hold a relevant academic degree within business, project management, engineering, life sciences or a related field. You have experience working with business planning, business analysis, resource and capacity planning, portfolio management or other analytical disciplines where data, forecasting and decision support are central elements.

You are comfortable working with large amounts of data and translating complex information into clear analyses, forecasts and recommendations. Ideally, you have experience supporting management with planning, prioritisation and resource allocation in a project-based or operational environment.

As a person, you are analytical, structured and curious by nature. You enjoy understanding how an organisation operates and are motivated by turning complexity into transparency and actionable insights. At the same time, you are skilled at building relationships across functions and facilitating dialogue between stakeholders with different perspectives and priorities.

You have strong Excel skills, experience with reporting and data visualisation tools, and proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

We offer:

At Unilabs Pharma Solutions, you will work closely with management and gain significant influence in an organisation undergoing transformation and growth. You will play a key role in creating the transparency, planning and analytical foundation that enables the organisation to make informed decisions, utilise resources effectively and continue to scale.

Reporting directly to the Head of Site Copenhagen, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, gaining broad business insight and the opportunity to shape how planning, prioritisation and decision support are developed in the future. The role offers both professional and personal development in a small, informal workplace where colleagues support each other and where your contribution will have a visible impact.

The position is based at Unilabs’ office on Nygårdsvej 32 in Copenhagen Ø. If you are analytical, a good listener and motivated by turning complexity into clear insights and actionable solutions, we look forward to receiving your application.
