On behalf of DSB, Compass Human Resources Group is looking for an experienced and business-oriented SAP EAM Solution Architect to take on a key role in optimizing and further developing DSB’s SAP S/4HANA-based solutions.

A central role in DSB’s digital future

DSB is currently undergoing one of Denmark’s largest digital transformations, where SAP S/4HANA plays a vital role in modernizing and streamlining business operations. As a Solution Architect, the new hire will be responsible for scoping, designing, implementing, and optimizing functionalities within SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), particularly SAP PM.

The position is based in DSB’s SAP Center of Excellence and involves close collaboration with DSB Operations, which is responsible for managing workshops, train fleets, and maintenance activities.

This is a meaningful and professionally challenging position within a rapidly evolving SAP landscape. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence architecture and develop solutions that contribute directly to DSB’s green transition and modernization of public transportation.

Key responsibilities:

• Advice on optimal use of SAP Best Practice solutions within EAM
• Design functionality in SAP PM and possibly QM/DMS
• Ensure and maintain integration with internal and external systems
• Prepare documentation and conduct workshops for users and business units
• Collaborate closely with Business Product Owners, Project Managers, Enterprise Architects and SAP developers to ensure correct and on time delivery.

Candidate profile:

• Solid experience as an SAP application consultant or solution architect within SAP EAM/PM
• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration and administration
• Preferably experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud ALM
• Familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident/Change) and tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and SAP Solution Manager
• Analytical and structured approach – with the ability to maintain an overview in complex tasks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into concrete solutions and designs

Background

The ideal candidate has a technical education such as marine engineer or engineer and a solid understanding of processes in a production or operational environment. However, relevant hands-on experience is highly valued, even without a formal degree.

The SAP CoE is responsible for DSB’s entire SAP portfolio and consists of 32 permanent employees and a similar number of external consultants based in Denmark, Poland, and India. The organization is divided into SAP System Management, SAP Development, and SAP ERP Application.
