Product Specialist to Mediplast

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our team in Finland. In this role, you will be responsible for a designated product portfolio within neurosurgery, driving sales and marketing efforts across Finland. This is a position with a high degree of independence, where you will take ownership of planning, implementing, and executing commercial activities and drive organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth: Achieve sales targets by identifying opportunities, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and maintaining key customer contacts.
  • Product Training & Customer Education: Educate customers on your portfolio through technical and clinical training and product demonstrations. Stay updated on product training and usage, best practices, and clinical advancements.
  • Business & Market Analysis: Analyze market data to optimize territory plans, support decision-making, and contribute to marketing activities. Collaborate across business units to drive commercial success.
  • Industry Representation & Networking: Represent the company at industry fairs and events, actively promoting products and building relationships with key professionals.
  • Tender Process: The role includes active participation both in the pre-tender process as well as tender submission. You will influence the tender specification and work closely with the Tender department to ensure successful submissions. You will also provide market insights and product expertise to support competitive and well-structured tenders.

About you

You bring solid commercial experience from the MedTech industry and are skilled at building long-term, business-driving relationships with customers and key stakeholders. You are self-motivated, take full ownership of your product portfolio, and work in a structured way with clear planning, follow-up, and prioritization to meet – and exceed – your targets.

We believe you have a background as a nurse, preferably with specialist training in surgery and/or anesthesia, with solid exposure to the neurosurgery field, or equivalent experience from the MedTech or healthcare sector.

As a person, you are highly business-oriented and results-driven, with a strong ability to move the business forward – from needs analysis and customer dialogue to implementation and follow-up. You enjoy working in a team where knowledge is shared and colleagues support each other, while also being confident in independently driving your own projects. Requirements:

  • Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
  • B driving license, as the role requires extensive travel to meet with customers.
  • Ability to travel as required for the role
  • Experience in the industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the patient care team
