Global financial controlling and reporting
As Group Controller you will join the Group Controlling team and be strongly involved in various tasks, such as preparation of monthly internal financial statements, estimates and year-end external financial statements. It will be your responsibility to validate and secure the financial figures across companies operating within different sectors. You will work closely together with the finance teams in Denmark and Finance Managers around the world.
Specific work tasks:
- Controlling and reviewing of a broad variety of Danish entities within various industries.
- Participating in preparation of internal reporting to Management and the Board of Directors.
- Participating in the preparation of the Group Annual Report.
- Further develop and maintain Group related controlling and reviewing processes.
- Building and maintaining strong relations with internal stakeholders.
- Participating in budget and estimate processes.
- Act as sparring partner for the Group Accounting team.
- Analysis of group financial development.
- Preparing audit material.
- Assist with the quality assurance of consolidated figures.
- Assisting Group Tax with corporate income tax returns.
Based in Fredericia, you will report to the Group Finance Director and join the Group Finance team. To accommodate a close relationship with stakeholders within the group you should expect 5-10 travel days a year.
Ambitious and curious financial profile with strong interpersonal skills
We expect you to hold a master’s degree in finance or an HD-R, combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Auditor and/or Controller, ideally within an international organization at the group level, where you have gained a broad understanding of the financial tasks and operations. You have strong IT capabilities, and you can communicate fluently both written and verbal in Danish and English.
