To support continued growth in Denmark, Sopra Steria is looking for a commercially driven and experienced Director, Sales & Business Development to take ownership of the Danish sales agenda and strengthen their market position.

Drive Growth and Commercial Excellence

As Director, Sales & Business Development, you will take end-to-end ownership of the commercial agenda in Denmark. Acting as a key member of the Danish leadership team, you will drive revenue growth, develop new business opportunities, and build strong, long-term client relationships.

You will operate in a consultative sales environment, where success is driven by understanding client needs, shaping complex solutions, and leading structured sales processes from opportunity to signed deal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving and executing the sales and business development strategy in Denmark
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers
  • Leading complex sales processes, including tenders, bids, and contract negotiations
  • Developing and managing a structured commercial pipeline and forecasting framework
  • Winning and maintaining long-term framework agreements, particularly within the public sector
  • Translating client needs into tailored, value-based consulting and technology solutions

Your Profile

You are an experienced and commercially driven profile with a strong track record in consultative sales and business development, ideally from IT consulting or a similar project- and solution-based environment. You bring a clear “hunter” mindset and a strong ability to identify, develop and win new business opportunities, while building long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

We are looking for a commercially driven profile who brings:

  • Strong experience with project-based consulting sales, including selling complex services and solutions
  • Proven ability to navigate long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder processes, including tenders and framework agreements
  • Solid capabilities within pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI follow-up
  • A structured and value-based approach to translating business needs into tailored solutions
  • Experience with public sector sales and procurement processes is considered a strong advantage
