An established Norwegian company within renewable energy solutions is seeking a Certified Electrical Installer to take overall responsibility for electrical compliance and serve as the company’s recognised professional authority.

This is a key appointment and an essential function within the business.
While Norwegian authorization as an Electrical Installer (DSB godkjent installatør) is fundamental to the role, there is significant opportunity to shape the position around your strengths, whether you are driven by technical excellence, customer dialogue or business development.
You will play a central role across the organisation, working closely with management, project teams, electricians, customers and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and support the continued development of the business.
The role includes ongoing interaction with authorities, support and development of electricians and project teams, and responsibility for ensuring that the organisation remains aligned with relevant legislation, standards and industry requirements.
We expect you to bring
- Approval as an Authorised Electrical Installer (DSB) is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Norwegian regulations, standards and electrical compliance requirements
- The ability to operate independently and serve as the company’s professional authority
- Credibility when engaging with technicians, project managers, authorities and customers
- Experience from either a highly technical or commercially focused environment
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language and good English skills
Additional strengths could include
- Customer-facing and commercial experience
- Experience supporting Key Account Managers in complex customer engagements
- Building and developing relationships with customers and industry stakeholders
- Representing the company in relevant industry forums and networks
- Product development and technical advisory work
- Complex project design and technical support
- Knowledge of renewable energy products
