As a part of their ambitious growth strategy, MFT Energy is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Controller, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of global payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employee wages in close collaboration with an external payroll provider. As MFT Energy operates in several countries around the world, you will regularly communicate with various consultants and providers to navigate local rules and regulations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the external SSC partners to process and control monthly payrolls for all employees, ensuring accuracy and global compliance.
  • Performing payroll-related tasks such as bonus calculations, applying for reimbursements and administration of benefits.
  • Managing pension and healthcare globally.
  • Maintaining and updating the salary process, and ensure it is as automated as possible.
  • Ensuring payroll audit controls and formalized processes are in place.
  • Assisting with year-end payroll processes and any audit-related matters.
  • Handling payroll-related inquiries from colleagues, e.g., guidance in holiday balances/registrations.
  • Updating data in relation to parental leave, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Onboarding new payroll solutions around the world.
  • Assisting with visa applications.
  • Collaborating with People Operations to ensure optimal on- and offboarding processes as well as maintaining accurate master data.
  • Collaborating with the legal department on employment related matters and interpreting various policies.

Reporting directly to CFO Thomas Brebøl Christensen, you will join an ambitious and experienced Finance team who strive to deliver the best possible service to a wide array of global stakeholders. Profound experience within Compensation & Benefits in a global context

We imagine that you have a relevant educational background in finance, auditing or economics, and several years of experience working with payroll procedures in a global context, bringing knowledge of best-practice payroll procedures and tax regulations. Your experience working with international stakeholders gives you excellent communication skills allowing you to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.

Your proactive mindset enables you to independently identify issues and solutions, and continuously seek out opportunities to clarify, simplify and automate processes. Furthermore, you bring an analytical approach and great attention to detail, which guarantees high-quality and timely results.
