SATS, the leading fitness provider in the Nordics, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead and strengthen the financial operations in Denmark. This role is critical to ensuring financial stability, supporting strategic growth, and driving operational efficiency. As a key business partner to the Country Manager, you will play a vital role in making well-informed financial decisions that help improve the business and drive its success.

Your Role as Finance Manager:

As the Finance Manager for SATS Denmark, you will take full responsibility for the financial operations of the business, working closely with both local management and the Nordic finance team. While ensuring robust financial controls and compliance, your primary focus will be on the commercial aspects of the role, using financial insights to drive business growth and operational efficiency. You will actively contribute to strategic decision-making, ensuring that financial strategies align with commercial objectives and support the company’s long-term goals.

In this role, you will oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and analyses, all of which will provide key insights to guide decision-making. A core part of your responsibilities will be identifying opportunities for cost optimization, improving processes, and driving business improvements. You will collaborate with the Nordic Finance team to optimize financial systems and processes across the organization, ensuring these support the commercial needs of the business. Additionally, you will prepare and present business cases, financial analyses, and recommendations that contribute to the development of strategic initiatives, helping the Country Manager and other stakeholders make informed, financially sound decisions.

A key aspect of the role will be your ability to balance the financial health of the company with its commercial growth. You will ensure that financial decisions not only meet compliance and regulatory standards but also enable SATS Denmark to adapt, grow, and thrive in a competitive market.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Solid experience in business finance and financial analysis, with a strong commercial understanding of how finance can support and optimize business operations.
• Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s broader strategic goals.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial recommendations and make data-driven decisions.
• Proven track record in managing financial operations and improving business efficiency.
• Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and supporting decision-makers with strategic financial insights.
