Head of HR
We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Head of HR to join Lantmännen Cerealia in Finland. This is a key leadership role where you will shape the people agenda and influence leadership, culture and ways of working across the organisation in a fast paced environment.
As a member of the Finland Country Management Team, you will work closely with business leaders to turn business priorities into people initiatives and support the organisation through change. You will lead the local HR team and act as a trusted partner to managers and employees across our office and production sites.
You will report to the Country Managing Director, with a dotted reporting line to the Chief Human Resources Officer in Sweden. The role covers both blue- and white-collar employees in Helsinki, Kotka and Hyvinkää.
The position is based in Salmisaari, Helsinki. Regular travel to our Kotka and Hyvinkää sites and occasional travel to Sweden is part of the role.
Your daily responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the country HR plan in line with business strategy and annual plan and Cerealia’s People Strategy.
- Acting as a trusted HR partner and advisor to the Country Managing Director, Country Management Team and managers.
- Bringing a people and organisational perspective to business decisions.
- Leading and developing the local HR team, setting clear priorities and supporting professional growth.
- Strengthening leadership, culture and ways of working, with a focus on engagement, empowerment, collaboration and change.
- Leading labour relations and union cooperation, and advising on Finnish employment law, collective agreements and employee relations.
- Driving the local Health & Wellbeing agenda and supporting employee wellbeing, health and safety.
- Ensuring effective HR processes and compliance with company policies and Finnish legislation.
What we expect from you:
- Strong experience in strategic and operational HR leadership and business partnering.
- Experience in a senior HR role, including people leadership and close collaboration with business leaders.
- Experience working with both blue- and white-collar organisations in an international, matrix environment.
- Strong knowledge of Finnish employment law, collective agreements and labour relations.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution, maintain a holistic view and stay composed.
- An inclusive and approachable leadership style, with sound decision-making, resilience and clear communication.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and focus on results.
- Relevant academic degree, preferably at Master’s level
- Lead and act according to the Cerealias Values & Leadership Navigator abilities
- Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage.
