The role combines operational HR and strategic support, setting the direction for HR in Mediq Sweden. In collaboration with the MD, you will play a vital role in the development of the Swedish organization and will be responsible for ensuring that HR activities support the overall business strategy. You will be the manager of the HR business partner and report in full line to HR Director, Nordics, Baltics & UK, and in a matrix to the Managing Director of Sweden. You will be a member of both the HR Nordics Team and the Leadership Team of Mediq Sweden.
Your support, advice and counsel will be crucial for the leadership team of Sweden to design, develop and grow the organization in Sweden. Your eye for talent, diversity and growth mindset will be a success factor for the country.

You have experience from all aspects of HR and thrive in an all-around role. You have an up-to-date operational toolbox, which you are looking to combine with your strategic mindset. You understand what it takes to operate in a growing and ambitious commercial business and apply a flexible approach to ensure impact. You are business-savvy with solid HR and business insights, and you are a capable leader, able to transform strategy into action.
Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, and you inspire trust and confidence in others, enabling you to build trusting relationships, both upwards and downwards, independent of the organization.
You are passionate about people development, you find, encourage, and promote individual and group strength. You are not afraid to speak up and take tough decisions. You see discipline in execution as a given part of the business.
One day you’ll work on development projects. The next, you’ll dive into comp & ben data, and you’ll need to be right at home in this ever-changing environment.
Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Translate the overall business strategy to high impact HR initiatives
- Drive local people development activities
- Drive and follow-up on employee engagement
- Act as a trusted partner to people managers
- Manage recruitment and onboarding activities end to end
- Drive annual wheel activities, work environment, etc.
- Define and drive Employer Branding activities
- Implement HR processes & programs coming from Nordics and/Group
- Responsible for people related internal communication
Solid background and relevant educational background.
You always think one step ahead with a focus on continuous improvement. As a result, you bring positive energy to the organization and have the unique ability to take the complexity out of projects, making them actionable. You have a vast experience from a HR Generalist role on similar level for 5+ years. You have a proven track record working with Swedish Employment Law & Collective Agreements and hence you have an educational background preferably within HR. This could be MSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, Graduate Diploma (HD) in Organization and Management or other relevant university degrees.
