As IT Operation Engineer, you will be responsible for global Endpoint management, maintaining and further developing both the SSCM platform and Microsoft Intune with all that entails. Furthermore, you will Act as the point of contact for the 1st line IT ServiceDesk in relation to client management, licence administration, inventory, and complex support issues.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Global client management activities: Deciding routines, developing manuals, maintaining software distribution and support-processes.
  • Maintaining Intune Processes.
  • Patch Management for both clients and servers.
  • IT Cloud management, Microsoft Azure technology, platforms and architectures.
  • Infrastructure elements of IT application execution such as setup, user admin, security.
  • Keeping overview and ensuring compliance regarding licences. Driving negotiations on licence renewals every 3 years.
  • Support and monitor different systems and services according to ITIL-principles.
  • Part of the 24/7 on-call duty scheme after a thorough onboarding.

In addition to this, you will work together with your colleagues in the infrastructure team in preparing and coordinating IT design documentation for the execution of applications running in the general IT infrastructure – both cloud – and server related. In this connection, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all endpoints are updated and ready for the global expansions of the production facilities.

You will join a highly qualified, global IT team of 16 dedicated IT professionals, who value an informal environment and pursue strong collaboration to achieve their goals and have fun while doing so. Palsgaard values personal development and offers the opportunity to take on other responsibilities as you develop in the role.
You will report to Peter Frøkjær, Global IT Infrastructure & Operation Manager, and the position is based at the headquarter in Juelsminde (DK) where you will experience a flexible workday, including the opportunity to work from home.

IT- operations profile, with an enterprising mindset

We imagine that you have an educational background within IT such as Computer Engineering or Information Technologist. Possibly, you could be an experienced support consultant, who has migrated into the field of infrastructure. You might also have skills within documentation and compliance or knowledge of ITIL-methodology. However, extensive knowledge on cloud-based infrastructure and practices, including hands-on experience with Azure, SSCM and Intune, is a priority.

On a personal level, you are a curious person, who is not afraid to take initiative and constantly seeks to make progress. You have a structured approach combined with high degree of critical thinking, enabling you to troubleshoot effectively. Furthermore, you enjoy working in an informal environment, where a collaborative mindset lays the foundation for achieving common goals. You have strong interpersonal skills, and you can easily communicate at multiple levels in Danish and English both written and orally.

Attractive benefits and global growth opportunities

Palsgaard offers you good working conditions, including a 7th vacation week, health insurance, profit sharing in form of an additional pension scheme, as well as abundant opportunities for personal and professional development, both nationally and globally. An international environment with customers and colleagues worldwide and a social well-functioning environment with a familiar atmosphere in informal settings, located in beautiful surroundings at Palsgaard Estate. You become part of a global production company with a strong ESG profile, where, in the upcoming strategic plan, they envision a period of significant expansions both in Denmark and in subsidiaries.
