We are searching for a Company Nutritionist who can advance their food impact agenda and goals across the Nordics. As the Company Nutritionist you will develop, drive and oversee the Nutrition strategy across the Nordics in collaboration with the menu team, and take part in the implementation of the nutrition guidelines.
Responsibilities
Food Impact Strategy
- Lead and develop a comprehensive food impact strategy. Specifically, co-lead management of nutrition strategy with the Menu team and integrate/align with other key impact strategies and teams
- Pro-actively drive and support the organization on nutrition goals, policies, progress measurement and reporting, in alignment with other relevant teams in the Nordics and
- Collaborate across teams to advance data tracking, internal and external insights and amplification
- Maintain understanding of leading trends and changes in food, nutrition, health and climate, including regulatory developments
- Identify potential opportunities and risks related to food impact and nutrition
- Engage with government, NGOs in the public health dialogues and contribute to advaocacy building for the business
- Commercial awareness in order to idenitfy nutritional opportunities and strategies that contribute to the growth of the
Stakeholder management and Subject Matter Expert
- Be the SME on the impact of the food (i.e. related to nutrition, choice, marketing, sustainable diets and public health) and support innovation in informed customer choices
- Serve as Nordic lead SME supporting nutrition-related impact/ESG reporting
- Partner with Nordic Communications and Marketing on credible narratives and messaging related to food strategy and nutrition commitments (nutrition communication tools, materials and messaging e.g. press releases, educational materials, presentations, and customer facing materials .
- Represent the brand at relevant conferences, external engagements, internal events, etc.
Your profile
- Bachelors Degree or relevant practical experience in nutrition, public health, or food-related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience within the food industry in technical or regulatory role
- Knowledge and networks within nutrition, sustainable consumption, global food systems, environmental issues
- Experience of Nordic (EU) food policy, nutrition policy and labelling legislation
- Experience managing trends in nutrition, food, climate, and regulatory issues
- Ability to foster strong internal networks and relationships with external partners
- Experience educating and influencing internally to motivate action
- Good communication and organizational skills including ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a “can do” positive and committed attitude with a genuine desire and capacity to understand and relate to others
- Thrive in a culture of continuous improvement
- Nordic experience is a plus
