  • Ensure technology, data security, and privacy practices support trust, compliance, and scalability
  • Communicate technology strategy and progress clearly to senior executives and the board
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture across technology, research, and business teams
  • Represent Polar in external technology-related partnerships and stakeholder discussions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong leadership background in technology-driven organizations (e.g. health tech, IoT, consumer electronics, digital platforms)
  • Proven experience leading R&D, product development, and IT in growth or transformation environments
  • Solid understanding of modern technology stacks, including cloud, data platforms, AI/ML, and connected devices
  • Experience driving digital transformation and large-scale technology initiatives
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic, hands-on execution
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable working with executive teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with IP, patents, or advanced technology licensing is considered an advantage
