Field Sales & Key Account Manager

As the Field Sales & Key Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of executing Pernod Ricard Denmark’s domestic commercial strategy in the Off-Trade sector. Your mission is to drive market share growth year after year and elevate business performance by combining strong analytical skills, digital expertise, and commercial acumen.

You will be responsible for leading a team of six Sales Representatives, guiding and inspiring them to do their best, while also working closely with the local Managing Director, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of the strategies.

This position is divided into two key areas: Sales Management (70%), where you will focus on coaching and managing the Sales Representative team, analyzing business performance, and driving sales excellence; and Key Account Management (30%), where you will manage strategic partnerships, negotiate annual agreements, and drive profitability with key customers.

Drive Growth & Lead a High-Performing Team

In this role, you will take full ownership of the leading and developing the field sales team, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with strategic objectives. You will continuously monitor key performance indicators, conduct weekly follow-ups, and develop action plans based on both internal and external insights in collaboration with the Finance Business Partner. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring sales excellence.

Additionally, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing trade marketing initiatives, ensuring a bold and agile entrepreneurial mindset across both the Sales and Marketing teams. Beyond sales leadership, you will also take charge of negotiating annual agreements, trade terms, and marketing activities for key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and profitable growth. Your ability to challenge existing go-to-market strategies and adapt to market changes will be crucial in optimizing Pernod Ricard Denmark’s Off-Trade business.

To Succeed in This Role, You Need:

  • A degree in Sales, Business Management, or similar within FMCG
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant commercial role
  • Proven experience leading teams
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
