As our Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be part of our Central Credit Risk team. Your responsibilities will be to develop and improve our IFRS 9 framework. Your approach should be quantitative, ideally complemented by regulatory understanding. Create finance solutions for a better living
The Central Credit Risk team supports all Ikano offices in seven different countries with application and behavioural credit risk models for consumers as well as corporate leasing and factoring. The team is also responsible for IFRS9 framework and financial analytics with respect to risk. You will be involved in some or all of the following areas:

  • Responsibility of developing our IFRS 9 framework
  • Develop and validate underlying statistical models within our IFRS 9 framework, including PD, EAD, LGD and supporting models
  • Develop relationships and business understanding with our seven local markets and Senior Management Team
  • Take primary responsibility for credit risk input in budget process
  • Drive improvement in our business enhancement tools within the B2B area

Are you the one for Ikano?
The ideal candidate for this role has a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or similar. Interest in modeling and finance is another prerequisite to be successful. As a person, you are curious, open minded and eager to learn and share your expertise. You have more than 6 years of experience from positions within risk. You are comfortable in working independently as well as working in a team and are fluent in English.

Provide strategic financial support to the business
Reporting to the Finance Director for cluster North+, you will get full responsibility for the overall financial management in the Scandinavian countries, acting as a close sparring-partner to both the Head of Nordics as well as the Finance Director. You will have a central role in supporting the achievement of the Business Unit’s financial targets, while at the same time executing analyses and reporting yourself. Your area of responsibility includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Provide high-value adding services to influence and support management decision that ultimately drive profitable business growth.
  • Monitor, drive, communicate, propose corrective action(s), and assist in implementing action plans to ensure the Business Unit achieves its financial KPI’s.
  • Deliver robust, financial forecasts, based on clear business assumptions for the Nordics’ business. This includes target setting, budgets and analysis.
  • Working with Commercial and Supply Chain to drive forecast accuracy of a 24-month, rolling forecast.
  • Ensure a strong and visible financial business partnering function.
  • Contribute to build and develop a strong financial supporting function.

Furthermore, you will continuously strive to make all processes, reporting models etc. as standardised, optimised, lean and smooth as possible – as well as promote best practises. Consequently, you will need to have strong negotiation skills, be able to set direction and drive execution in a matrix organisation.

Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset
As a Finance Business Partner, we expect you to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economy, finance or accounting. You have gained a good business understanding, and you have a solid finance background from an affiliate that has sales- and marketing responsibilities. You possess a deep business understanding, so you are able to support commercial and regional performance, to become a trusted business partner and challenge the business when necessary.
