Director Product Readiness
Stibo DX
Drive impact at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Quality as Director, Product Readiness at Stibo DX. In this role, you will define how quality, documentation, and release readiness are executed across a modern SaaS organisation.
Stibo DX is looking for a strategic and execution-oriented leader to take ownership of product readiness across its global CUE platform. This is a high-impact position where you will shape how the organisation delivers reliable, high-quality software at scale and directly influence customer experience, product performance, and operational efficiency.
As a global leader in media enterprise platforms, Stibo DX is accelerating its SaaS transformation. Product readiness, including quality assurance, documentation, release management, and development tooling, is becoming a strategic capability. You will lead this transformation and ensure the organisation can deliver consistently at speed.
Define the standards for quality and readiness across the organisation
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead a multi-disciplinary Project Readiness function spanning Quality Assurance strategy, Documentation, Release Management, and development tooling governance.
You will operate across the full product lifecycle, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and senior stakeholders to establish scalable frameworks, standards, and practices that enable teams to deliver reliably and predictable releases.
A key part of the mandate is to modernise legacy approaches to quality and documentation, driving the shift from manual processes toward automation-first verification, AI-enabled workflows, and data-driven decision-making. Your Product Readiness organisation is currently 6 employees in Aarhus and 1 in Oslo, but you will work closely with teams across all locations. Furthermore, the QA professionals are embedded in product teams, making matrix leadership essential to success.
Your responsibilities will include defining quality standards and metrics across teams, establishing CI/CD quality gates, strengthening release readiness criteria, modernising customer-facing documentation, and ensuring transparency and alignment across locations.
The role can be based in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Oslo, or Hamburg and involves close collaboration with international teams.
A strategic leader who can drive change across disciplines
We are looking for a structured and influential leader with a strong background in quality, delivery excellence, or engineering practices within a software or SaaS organisation.
You combine strategic thinking with execution power and thrive in environments where success depends on influencing both with and without formal authority. Strong communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders across functions are essential.
In addition, we expect you to bring:
- Proven experience leading quality strategy in a software product organisation
- A strong understanding of modern testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, quality metrics, and release readiness
- Leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams, including matrix leadership
- Experience improving release processes in complex environments
- Familiarity with documentation or knowledge-based strategy preferably in a SaaS context
- Experience with AI-enabled workflows or automation initiatives (advantage)
