Danhydra is undergoing significant growth, with exciting opportunities ahead as they expand globally. To support this journey, they are looking to hire a highly skilled Financial Controller with strong business acumen and system competencies to join their Group Finance team.

Main Responsibilities:
As Danhydra’s new Financial Controller your main responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly closings and group consolidation.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the Danhydra Group.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Support the Group Finance Manager in preparing financial presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Act as a key user of Business Central and Power BI, optimizing financial workflows and reporting capabilities.
- Maintain high-quality financial master data across systems.
- Collaborate with business units to develop and document efficient financial processes.
- Participate in audits and coordinate with external auditors and advisors.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
- Manage intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
The Financial Controller will be part of the Group Finance team, reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager. The position is based at their headquarters in Herning, Denmark.
Qualifications & Skills
The relevant candidate has:
- A relevant financial education (e.g., MSc in Finance, Accounting, or similar).
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling or similar roles, preferably in an international production or service-oriented business.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong IT skills, especially in ERP systems (Business Central preferred), Power BI, and Excel.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial data clearly and effectively.
- A process-oriented, proactive, and structured approach to work.
- A collaborative and solution-focused attitude.
