BOS Power is at the forefront of the energy transition, driving innovation in Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS). Backed by Bertel O. Steen Group, we are expanding the Energy Storage Systems (ESS) team to further strengthen our market position in the Nordics.

We are currently seeking dynamic Sales Managers to join our ESS segment in Denmark and Finland. These roles are instrumental in supporting the rapidly growing business and helping customers make the transition to more sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial activities for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Denmark or Finland, supporting customers in integrating storage into their renewable energy strategies.
  • Leverage your renewables market expertise to identify and qualify BESS opportunities with utilities, IPPs, C&I customers, and energy project developers.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, from early-stage conversations to commercial negotiations and contract closure – supported by a skilled Solution Manager, and R&D engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with our experienced Project Management team, ensuring a smooth handover from sales to execution and delivering customer confidence in delivery.
  • Translate complex energy use cases—like load shifting, frequency regulation, or solar+storage optimization—into clear value for the customer.
  • Help shape our local go-to-market approach, using your renewables industry insight to inform pricing, messaging, and strategic positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across the renewables value chain.
  • Represent BOS Power at renewable energy events, forums, and in customer dialogues as a trusted advisor on the role of energy storage in the transition.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in renewable energy sales, project development, or other commercial roles — ideally with grid-connected systems or large C&I installations.
  • Understanding of how BESS complements renewable assets (e.g., solar + storage, wind + storage, peak shaving, arbitrage, grid services).
  • Proven ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles, involving technical due diligence and multi-stakeholder negotiation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to align customer needs with technically and commercially sound ESS solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and collaborative — comfortable in fast-paced, impact-driven environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Energy, Business, etc.).
  • Fluency in English and either Danish or Finnish, depending on the location.
