Are you ready to take the lead on internal controlling visits in a global organization and collaborate closely with colleagues across various subsidiaries? For our client we are looking for an ambitious Group Senior Financial Controller for the Group Headquarter in Southern Jutland.
Challenging role in Group Accounting
As a Group Senior Financial Controller, you will join the Group Accounting team where all aspects of group consolidation, financial controlling and financial compliance audits are handled. You will report directly to the Head of Group Accounting.
In cooperation with the Group Accounting team, your overall responsibility will be to:
- Perform financial controlling for month-end, annual report, budget, and forecast
- Accomplish internal financial audits/controlling visits in the subsidiaries
- Provide deep dive audits/controlling via digital solutions across and on selected focus areas
- Monitor compliance
The position as Group Senior Financial Controller is expected to have primary tasks focusing on financial compliance audit, controlling/review of financial reports from group companies, compliance tracking/follow-up on periodic reporting/forecasting, analysis, and investigations on financial elements.
You will as a Group Senior Financial Controller take lead in the entire process of controlling visits; strategy, planning, on-site, follow-up and preparation of controller reports.
Group HQ and travels to subsidiaries
A big part of the tasks is performed in the Group HQ, but audit and in some cases ad hoc reviews are performed on local locations for which reason travelling to subsidiaries is a normal part of the position. You should expect around 30-50 days of travel yearly. The role offers flexibility, including the option to work from home on certain days.
Join an international environment
You have a background as Master’s degree in Accounting or a Higher diploma (HD-R) and/or experience from a similar position or as an auditor. You have experience with audits and are fluent in English, as you will be working with external and internal stakeholders.
To support the audit and controlling several IT-tools are utilized such as SAP, SAP/BW Datawarehouse, MS Power BI, Audit Analytics, IMPERO (the compliance reporting tool), and MS Office packages. As a Group Senior Financial Controller, you are expected to become a superuser in the IT-tools for which reason flair for IT-tools is required.
