Drive winning bids and make a strategic impact

The main responsibility of the Bid Manager is to support the front-line sales team with winning bids on development projects and manufacturing requests, within agreed deadlines. As Bid Manager, you will lead a cross-functional bid team, receiving resources, commercial and technical input from the Operations / Supply Chain and Solutions teams. Thus, you will interact broadly with the overall Danhydra organization, taking on a critical role in overall performance of Danhydra’s Customized Tools division.

Your tasks will include:

  • Lead cross-functional Bid Team
  • Generate quotes in line with guidelines and front-line sales managers
  • Ensure high-quality winning bids optimally positioned on key value drivers for both customer and Customized Tools
  • Secure high speed on response times to quoting deadlines
  • Align and support sales strategies including pricing for bids
  • Continuously warrant high quality, accuracy and compliance on quotes, calculations and other supporting material.
  • Develop Business Cases in close collaboration with the Global KAM, CSO and VP Customized Tools
  • Participate in review meetings
  • Generate quotes of high quality ready for customer presentation
  • Support front-line sales in quote/solution presentations and other customer meetings where needed
  • Ad-hoc support on other sales and marketing related activities

You will join the global sales team within the Customized Tools Division working from Danhydra’s headquarters in Herning. You will report to the CSO for Customized Tools, Christian Almstrup Larsen.

Strong commercial mindset combined with a technical understanding

We imagine that you have a strong educational foundation at minimum bachelor’s level in either a commercial or technical field combined with several years of experience from a similar position, preferably within the wind industry. Alternatively, you could have a background within project management and want to develop your career in a more commercially driven role. Most importantly, you can utilize your technical knowledge in combination with either commercial or project management skills to ensure accurate, winning-level bids to maximize the potential of Danhydra’s business.

As a person, you are outgoing, energetic, and results-oriented with a strong drive. Your curiosity and structured approach ensure clarity and high-quality execution. With excellent negotiation skills, sharp business acumen, and a commercial mindset, you deliver valuable solutions. You are a skilled communicator and an engaged team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
