 Your opportunity: 

At Boliden, we are dedicated to safeguarding our people, assets and operations through strong security and risk management practices. To enhance these efforts, we are introducing a new group function and seeking a Director Group Security to lead this initiative. In this critical role, you will develop and maintain a security framework that minimizes risks and ensures our practices are robust, proactive and aligned with industry standards. While the position does not involve direct reports, your influence will extend across the entire organization.

 Who you will work with: 

You will report directly to Boliden’s Executive Vice President of People and Sustainability and work closely with senior leadership and colleagues in all our business units to ensure our security strategies are both effective and sustainable.

 What you will do: 

  • Develop and implement a Security Policy that defines requirements and crisis preparedness
  • Keep the organization informed about risks, security issues and continuity plans
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Monitor and improve crisis preparedness
  • Lead a Security Council for information sharing and coordination
  • Collaborate with HR, IT and other departments to ensure security standards
  • Support Business Areas and Units in risk management and security operations
  • Participate in assessments, audits and align with Boliden’s risk management processes

 What you bring: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree with relevant training in security management
  • Proven experience in security management, ideally within an industrial setting
  • A solid understanding of laws, regulations and security standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with colleagues across the organization
