Facility Officer

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Copenhagen

Do you want to join an exciting journey as Facility Officer in a fast paced company with big growth ambitions? With reference to our Office Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our newly established office, in one of Copenhagen’s most beautiful buildings located on NordØ at Nordhavn.

The Team

In CIP we build value that matters. In order to do so, we need to ensure the best-in-class facility services in our Copenhagen office. You will join a growing Offices team all working together towards ensuring that the physical infrastructure is running flawlessly, as well as identifying areas for improvement within efficiency and cost-saving matters. You will be a part of the Offices team, reporting to our Office Manager, Lone Bryde Nielsen.

The Role

We are looking for a colleague with experience in overseeing and coordinating building-related activities and ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

In this role, you will:

  • oversee the daily management of the building and ensure everything runs efficiently including management of refurbishments, renovations etc.
  • Provide top-notch service to colleagues and users of the facilities.
  • Act as the first one-point-of-contact for colleagues, contractors, and external partners in any office and building related matters.
  • Take charge as the coordinator for external contractors, obtaining quotes and negotiating with these including overseeing the work performance, ensuring tasks are executed smoothly and on time.
  • Prepare and track facility budget. Monitor expenses and payments and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Oversee technical installations and management of building systems and technologies, hence supervision of CIP’s own technical facilities and technical service suppliers.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of emergency plans, including evacuation routes, disaster response, and business continuity together with our Risk team.
  • Handle minor craft-related issues/repairs where it does not make sense to contact a professional craftsman.

In all your work you will pay attention to the opportunity of reducing environmental impact, such as waste management, recycling, and energy-saving measures together with our ESG team.

Your role frequently requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, deal with a range of maintenance issues, and make decisions rapidly. Some weekend and evening work might be expected in emergency situations or to oversee special projects.

Who are you

You have a relevant educational background and have min. 3-5+ years of full-time experience from a similar position within facility management or operations with some understanding of technical operations and systems.

We are looking for you who is:

  • service-minded, approachable and thrives on helping others.
  • A hands-on person with technical skills and a flair for craftsmanship.
  • A strong coordinator who can take ownership, organize, and keep tasks on track.
  • Service-oriented, proactive, and bring a positive approach to your surroundings.

Moreover, you have:

  • Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
