For an international company, located in the Central Region of Denmark, working within services for renewable energy, we are looking for a results-driven and strategic Finance Manager who is strong on IT and can lead the finance team.
Strategic and hands-on Finance Manager
The role of Finance Manager is strategic yet hands-on, offering a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of the company. Your main priorities will include group consolidation, data-driven decision support, and leadership of the finance team.
Your tasks will include:
- Preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with the corresponding consolidation at group level
- Ensuring the financial and project/business controlling of all business units in the group
- Ensuring that key processes and procedures are continuously maintained, streamlined and digitalized
- Controlling and proactive support of business with financial insights and analysis
- Ensuring the monthly department cost analysis and follow-up with department managers
- Management of internal group reporting to management and the Board of Directors (Monthly reporting)
- Management of the finance department, ensuring a high level of job satisfaction
- Ensuring the annual group budget for all business units and departments
- Securing that transfer pricing policies are updated and properly documented.
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Coordinating the annual audit and group financial statements
- Ad hoc tasks to support company development (e.g. setting up new companies)
You will join a team of finance professionals, working with accounting, reporting, and both financial and business controlling. You will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for a team of controllers, accountants and administrative personnel.
Proactive profile with strong IT skills
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with an educational background with either a master’s in finance or a HD-R. You have several years of experience from a similar role, managing a finance team, working within accounting, controlling, and/or auditing, preferably in an international setup where you have gained experience working with group consolidation as well. You have a sound understanding of accounting and financial controlling and know how to apply and adapt general accounting principles across an international organization as well as a working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS within a Danish context. Finally, you have strong IT skills within Power BI, Excel and ERP and are interested in processes and data distribution.
As a person, you are ambitious and have an analytical and curious approach to your work. You have a proactive mindset and anticipate and react to issues before they become an issue. You are process-orientated and able to design and implement suitable processes covering accounting and controlling. Furthermore, you have great interpersonal skills and are a natural leader who can mentor, coach and spar with your team.
