As Therapy Development Specialist, you will join one of the biggest MedTech companies worldwide and be a part of a professional and passionate team, working with highly complex accounts. In this position, you will be working with innovation and solutions and launching new products and technologies within the Cardiovascular portfolio of solutions.

The primary role of the Therapy Development Specialist is to manage sales targets and to lead sales and marketing efforts of the Structural Heart product portfolio to major hospitals in Sweden, focusing on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation products (TAVI) and Transcatheter Pulmonic Valves (TPV).

Your main responsibility includes:

  • Selling the full range of Structural Heart products to major hospitals within Sweden focusing on: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation products (TAVI and Transcatheter Pulmonic Valves (TPV).
  • Planning and executing clinical and technical support in the cath lab by educating and supporting the doctors and nurses.
  • Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of the products and gain greater market share, leading through economic selling, developing, and presenting commercial offers.
  • Identifying, mapping and building relationships with all key decision makers and influencers, including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, head of dpt. purchasers etc.
  • Preparing the tender specifications, ensuring the pricing and product positioning and mix within the tender are in alignment with the requirements and strategy.
  • Supporting the Market Development Manager by identifying and facilitating market development opportunities and encouraging collaboration on specific projects
  • Working with high effectiveness within the team and the matrix organization to utilize skills and inputs throughout the business.

Your profile

To succeed in the role, we believe you have bachelors degree in Life Science or Business Administration and/OR experience from sales (Medical Device). You are able to learn and comprehend complex medical and scientific information and at the same time able to spot business opportunities, mature leads and easily influence others. You work well under pressure in a dynamic environment and speak Swedish and English fluently. It is advantageous if you have experience from the world of Structural Heart and Interventional/cath lab experience as well as experience from supporting cases.
