As Finance Manager you will report to the company´s CFO and you will be involved in both tactical and operational tasks, and through your visible leadership approach, you ensure that the accounting organization consisting of 11 employees operates efficiently and professionally.

You have min. 5 years of experience from a finance department – preferably from a Nordic/international company – where you have obtained an in-depth/hands-on experience with month-end/year-end closing, accounting / internal controls / efficient processes and reporting.

You know your “debit & credit” and do probably bring an education like M.Sc. in Auditing, HD (R) or similar into the job. Furthermore, we would like you to have gained extensive people management experience – could be from a minor team.

From an IT perspective you are an Excel superuser, have good understanding for ERP-systems, have preferably AXAPTA and SAP experience and are curious with regards to BI (Business Intelligence).

Business Controller

In this role you will become an important part of the dedicated finance team at Gate Gourmet, with direct report to the Head of Business Controlling.   • Perform regular in-depth analysis of material, labour and operating costs incurred by Danish units and so help the management team’s cost control efforts.
  • Generate and analyse monthly management reports, particularly relating to customer profitability.
  • Participate in preparation of short-term monthly forecasts.
  • Participate in preparation of the annual budget, including analysis, submission, and reporting of the Budget P&L.
  • Participate in Group, Finance and cross departmental projects as requested.

Can you take Business Controlling to the next level?
We expect you to have a relevant financial degree and 3+ years of experience as a Business Controller or a Business Analyst. Ideally you have worked in a fast-paced consumer product organization, and your commercial understanding is on a very high level. You are fluent in English and are well founded in Excel.

Operational and hands-on Team leader
As Team Leader you will manage a team of two skilled payroll assistants, to whom you will be a training coach and provide guidance, set the direction and motivate to develop and use their knowledge and skills to achieve the shared goals and take them even further. Your way into this position can be multiple. You can come from an HR department or from finance – most importantly is it that you have several years of payroll experience from and an extensive knowledge in payroll systems. Furthermore, it as a prerequisite that you have experience working in a production company with collective labour law agreements, unions and hourly workers. You may have had your first management position and seek to develop that even further, but it is not a prerequisite.
