To strengthen the Recon Business Unit, they are looking for a Territory Manager.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving and maximizing sales of Smith & Nephew Recon products within an assigned territory through regular contact with the target customer base.

The position requires the ability to assimilate and deliver a high level of knowledge about products and to sell Smith & Nephew products and their advantages over the competition. The business is tender driven and pre tender activities, participation in tender submissions, implementation of won tenders with customer training, monitoring and evaluation/feedback form an important part of the role.

You will plan and execute activities aligned with the overall Company Strategy Plan defined by Marketing and as agreed with the Franchise Lead and team. This is a field-based sales position and you will spend most of your time with the customers including in the operating room selling value based solutions to surgeons. Traveling is expected. The position reports to the Franchise Leader.

Your Profile

You have a proven sales experience from the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry with good knowledge and understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Swedish health care sector. Experience of account planning, budgeting and forecasting and from working with tenders.

You have strong business acumen and are able to read and interpret data. You cope well with changes in response to an ever changing business environment and have a strong customer focus. Good interpersonal and organizational skills are key and you are a strong communicator with presentation and training skills. You drive your own success and development through ongoing learning and a positive winning attitude, with the ability to challenge status quo.

A clinical advisor with the mind of a salesperson
We expect you to have a degree within healthcare, IT, sales or another relevant field combined with at least three years’ experience in a similar role. You possess a solid understanding of hospital/clinical workflows, which enables you to challenge your clients and find the right solutions for them. It is an advantage if you speak several Nordic languages.

Exciting opportunity for you who has a strong sales drive and knowledge within acoustics and vibration. In this position, your focus will be on sales through new business development and sales to existing customers in the south-western part of Sweden.

 As Account Manager, you will provide customers with solutions based on your knowledge of their needs. We expect you to have experience from a similar role providing/selling solutions to clients. You possess a solid understanding of noise & vibration, but we don’t expect you to be an expert within the field. Your ability to understand the products and to sell the right solution to the customers, will be essential for your success in this position.

Regional Market Access Manager

Key role in the Swedish and Nordic market access organization – Broad responsibility
As Regional Market Access Manager, you will be responsible for all regional market access activities in the Greater area of Gothenburg /West coast area. Working closely together with your colleagues in Sales, Marketing and Medical, you will plan, prioritize, and develop the activities and the appropriate approach to the different external stakeholders on the regional level to achieve access of the whole portfolio. We expect you to have solid knowledge of the healthcare system in Sweden as well as established networks and relationships with payers and other relevant regional and national stakeholders in the region described above. It is expected, that you have deep knowledge of the regional decision-making processes, but also knowledge of the overall healthcare system and processes in Sweden.

You have a minimum of five years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry and preferably within a broad variety of therapy areas and business areas such as open-care, hospital products, generics, medical devices etc. You have solid analytical capabilities combined with a strong commercial mind-set. You are excellent at building relations and working in cross functional teams, and you manage to communicate clearly and to the point.
